1. How did you start?
Change of direction brought me to Limagrain. I didn’t know I was due to be the product manager for Vining Peas too, so the learning curve was quite steep!
2. What does a typical day look like for you?
I can be working on some new variety development with the breeding team, looking for lorry loads of seed to come in and allocating them to customers, meeting end users and discussing their requirements or taking calls from customers asking about new varieties
3. How do you like to eat your peas?
Unlike my children who like to eat them frozen, I like Petit Pois or garden peas in a risotto.
4. Which three people would you invite to your dream dinner party and why?
Marcus Stewart (Ipswich Town goalscoring hero from the Premiership Season of 2000-2001), Jim Carrey (To keep me entertained) and David Attenborough (to keep conversation on track)
5. What is your second favourite vegetable? (Obviously peas take the top spot!)
I hope Baked Beans count. They go with almost everything
