The annual pea harvest has officially begun; the harvest is a military operation, with the pea viner surging up and down the fields, with the trucks waiting in the lanes to rush the peas to the freezing factory as they have to be frozen within 150 minutes.  Whilst we are sleeping in our beds, the viners harvest throughout the night to ensure that every pea is delivered to us in pea-k condition. In terms of nutrition the pea is better frozen than fresh.
